Ordering & Shipping

Shipping Within Canada:  We offer free shipping for orders $75 or more before taxes and weigh less than 1 kg (or orders under $75(excluding taxes) and weigh2.2 lbs) We charge $12.00 for shipping for orders under $75.00.

Shipping to the United States:  We offer free shipping for orders $150 or more (excluding tax).  Orders under $150 will be charged a flat fee of $15.00.

Please note:  Mad Monday and Seniors' discount do not apply to online orders.

Security:  Shopping online at The Healthy Bug is completely safe and private.  We use Shopify, a Canadian software company, with SSL encryption.  We never share or sell your name or information to anyone.

Prices:   All prices on our site are in Canadian dollars, and do not include taxes.  You will be charged in Canadian dollars, and your credit card company will convert to your local currency. 

Taxes:  You will be charged tax based on your shipping address.

Lost Parcels: Please do contact us if your order does not arrive within 14 days of shipping confirmation date.  You will receive confirming that your order has been shipped.  If your order is lost, we will do an investigation with Canada Post and advise you of our findings.  We will reimburse you once we receive credit from Canada Post.  We do not accept responsibility for orders seized or confiscated by customs.

Returns:  We will accept returns within 30 days of you receiving your order.  You must contact us to receive a RA number (return authorization number) prior to returning the product.  There is no re-stocking fee. 

You will not be reimbursed for the cost of shipping.  You must pay for the cost of shipping the product back to us.  Your credit card will be credited for the refund once we receive the product.  You will receive confirmation that we received the product.
